COLLECTIONS

	The Library offers an up-to-date collection of books, print & electronic journals, magazines, Online Newspapers, Electronic Books, Career-related resources and an ESL collection.		The Library's automated catalogue provides access to the Library's collections. Access to the catalogue is also available off campus. Click here.	The Library Home Page provides the gateway to the Library Catalogue, Reference Databases, Guides, help files & Internet Resources. Access to Online Journals, Online Newspapers, The Encyclopedia of Science & Technology, and the electronic-book (business) collection are accessible on-campus only.


The Reserve Collection contains course readings and items in heavy demand.
			CIRCULATION
REFERENCE SERVICES			Only registered users have borrowing privileges. Most items have a loan period of one week. Fiction items are available for 2 weeks. Reserve items can be checked out for 2 hours. Users have to return overdue items before further checkouts are allowed. When returning items after the Library is closed, use the BOOK DROP at the left of the Library entrance. Items returned after the Library is closed will be considered as having been returned the next day the Library is open.
For most hours the Library is open, Reference Services are available and are provided by professional Librarians.


		INFORMATION LITERACY
		The Library offers instruction on information seeking strategies, database searching & advice on appropriate resources for term papers. Instructors can book instruction sessions for groups.
			REGISTERING TO USE THE LIBRARY
			Both new & returning students must register at the start of each semester. You can do this at the Circulation Desk. You must show your card each time you check out items.		Your student card is also your Library card. Get your student ID card from Student Services & bring this along with your registration form to the Library to register.
